1000 Dollar Build

My Sister in law has scraped together 1k MAX to build a computer for my Neice

I have plugged in a few different options and came up with what I feel is a well rounded system

Rosewell RedBone U3 Case 49.99
Seagate Barracude 2tb Drive 99.99
Asus 23" 1080 149
ASrocks 99FX AM3+ 119
Crucial Ballistix 8gb (free with MB)
Rosewell RG-630-s12 PS 59.99
AMD II X4 965 94.99
Cooler master Hyper 212+ 29.99
SamSung 840 120G SSD 99.99
Saphire Flex 2 7950 3gb 299.99
Asus DVD/CD 19.99

With rebates and Shipping it is 950

I could dropped the video card/ssd/storage a bit and could get a 8320 CPU or I5-4430 I am shooting for a well rounded machine that will do school work and into college and game

I don't know what she is going to do with it so lets just say she will do what ever 15 year old girls do with computers

Lose the SSD. I don't see ya niece being astute enough to manage file storage on SSD vs HD. This has a 5 year warranty on the HD as opposed to 2

And I don't think she need worry about overclocking and 3rd party coolers
