Daemon tools stopped my physical dvd drive from working?

Hey guys my CD/DVD drive had been working just fine, however when i went to install a video game today i noticed that i would insert the CD and nothing would show up in my computer. At first i thought it was something with my BIOS, however after removing daemon tools and restarting the drive began working perfectly fine again. Anyone know what could be causing this?

Funny how you say it is not daemon tools...their website forum is FULL of people having that problem...so would you like my paypal info to deposit???

Oryou could go to MS and try this solution..worked for US (hint, hint) To tell people that it is not possible is I think one of the MOST dishonest thigns I have EVER heard...Daemon "throws" stuff into the registry and often makes it "confused" so it just thinks you installed a NEW DVD Hard Drive...which it appears this person just happens to sell. D...

Your CD/DVD drive is nothing to do with Daemon tools and vice versa. It's a virtual drive. It could be a software conflict or something else. Try installing Daemon tools again and see if the problem persists. I don't think that will happen. If that is not the problem than it could be your optical drive is in the edge of retirement.

First of all I would like to say that I AM SICK OF PEOPLE TELLING US THAT DAEMON TOOLS COULD AND DOES NOT CAUSE THIS PROBLEM...WHEN YOU GOOGLE IT TONS OF STUFF COMES UP THAT PEOPLE ARE HAVING THIS PROBLEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If you do not know how to fix it then do not tell people it is this that is not caused by daemon tools because it is!!!!
I had this problem awhile back and after months of searching and just trying everything I could think of I got it fixed...now I am having the same problem..I had to re-install daemon and it stopped my DVD drive from working.
I should have written down how I fixed it but I did not.....
so lets get this str8 daemon tools causes the DVD drive on Windows 7 to stop working...get over it....it does happen
either help fix it and stop telling people that they have to replace hardware when a software or a simple user done fix can make the DVD drive working again.
Sorry I cannot help but I am sick of seeing this do not go and buy any hardware...the solution is out their..just keep trying!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

1000.00 BUCKS SAYS THAT THE PERSON THAT ANSWERED THIS BY TELLING YOU TO GO AND BUY HARDWARE EITHER WORKS FOR OR OWNS A COMPANY THAT THIS HARDWARE CAN BE BOUGHT THROUGH......YUP I WAS RIGHT SO TOMS HARDWARE WOULD YOU LIKE TO PUT THE GRAND IN MY PAYPAL ACCOUNT??
