I recently purchased 2 MSI Lightning 7970s 3GB GHz along with 3 BenQ 24" 120Hz monitors. My intentions were to have a 5760x1080 res @ 120hz but that's not happening. I'm stuck at 60Hz currently but if i change the res down to 3 individual monitors @ 1920x1080, 120hz can be selected. All the monitors are connected to the card with a DL-DVI cable and are connected via 2 mDP (active adapter to DVI) and 1 DVI-D. Is there something I'm missing or just not understanding? Any help would be appreciated!

So the basis of this goes back to how AMD does their "Eyefinity". You CANNOT have 3 screens @ 120 hz, unless they are solely DP. Reason being is because of the 3rd display having to be DP, and since that is the case they all have to be DP at 120hz. I know DL-DVI can support the bandwidth, but with AMD a 3rd display has to be DP. Hope this answers it for you, answer questions let me know.
Ouch ...... CF's issues are well publicized ... hope they fix it for ya come the July 31 driver release

I know I read a lot about 120 hz / AMD multiple monitor issues but couldn't find anything current. Hope this helps.

I was considering a pair of 4gb 770s but the free games and cheaper card swayed my decision :). I'm happy with the performance of them, even @ 60Hz.....but i still want to get this 120Hz issue resolved.
