I'm looking to build a really nice gaming PC without too much diminishing return. I want a lot of power but I would also like to keep the price as reasonable as possible. Here are the parts I'm looking at, please help with whatever suggestions you may have.

I'm looking to build a nice gaming computer with very little diminishing returns. I don't want to go overkill but I do want a very nice rig. This is what I'm looking at so far, tell me what you think.

Then go with some 8GB 1600Mhz RAM. Such as the Corsair Vengeance line or G.Skill Ripjaws.

Get an i5. The one you mentioned; unless you want to go to the newest generation. i5-4670K.

You'll need a motherboard with an LGA 1150 socket too though. Then get a GTX 760 instead.

Then drop the PSU to around 750W perhaps, if you're wanting to SLI later. Otherwise even lower.

After that, change the HDD to either a Caviar Blue or Black. Black is more performance/reliability minded.

Green is the opposite and tries to lessen noise and use less power; but it's not worth it. While Blue

tries to strike a balance between these two. You also don't really need liquid cooling; not if you want

cheapness though. Only reason to go liquid are:

- Quietness

- Able to achieve higher OC's

- Cool factor

This would be tons better for you:
