Can anyone tell me which of these displays are better (im BAD WITH tech)

so for the macbook air what is the maximum resolution??? i am the biggest newbie.

Also how does it compare with other ultrabooks the macbook air is it pretty good the display/resolution?

1440 by 900 (native) so that's the max resolution, 1440x900. this is higher than HD (720p), but below Full HD: 1080p

the macbook air is pretty good in it's display quality. as for resolution it is average/slightly above average. but that's all you need, anything better and your computer will be slower. to make them so thin ultrabooks don't have real discrete graphics cards, so doing certain tasks can seem slow if you have a really high resolution monitor
