I need some help, I removed my graphics card to clean it out, and I must have bumped something when I plugged it back in. My ethernet controller is not being recognized, I have checked the ethernet cables and the router, both work when connected to another computer. My computer is also able to connect wirelessly, which is why I imagine that I must have bumped something related to the ethernet controller.
When I open device manager, the ethernet controller has a code 10 error (the device cannot start)
I've checked but im not sure where i might have unplugged something or not, any tips would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

Uninstall and then re-install the driver - should do it, also check your mobo site for an updated driver

Might try a CMOS reset, either by mobo jumper or unplug, pull the mobo battery for about 30 seconds, reinstall and try (don't forget to reset time and date

I am not too comfortable to do that, nor do I think that is the problem because I feel like I may have just disloged something, though I do have an update about the error that's popping up in device manager, after uninstalling it and attempting to reinstall, I get "The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)" and when I restarted my computer after uninstalling, it tried to install the drivers, but it turned up unsuccessful

Sorry for the double post, but also the yellow light that indicates that an ethernet cable is plugged in on my computer is not working either, which is another reason for me to believe that I may have disloged something

Well the CMOS resets all the hardware to factory defaults...could look in the socket and see if the pins all look straight and there, should be 8 of them
