Just installed two gigabyte gtx780 on my asus maximus v extreme board on the first slot 1 and slot 3 as recommended in the MB manual, and it should be running x8/x8. However, the bios (latest at 1802) sees the first card running at x4 while the second card is running at x8. No matter how I change the pci-e slots, the first card will always run at x4, instead of x8. My 3dmark11 score looks decent by the way: http://www.3dmark.com/3dm11/6791157.
Any one using this board has the same problem?
