What graphic card should I buy if I want to overclock?

Best $1,000 card ? Best $100 card ?

Mostly I am buying 650 Ti Boosts in budget builds and 770s in enthusiast builds. I usually look for factory overclocked boards with the big quiet coolers, custom PCB's and many phase VRMs which are available generally from Asus, MSI and Gigabyte.

The MSI Lightning and the EVGA Classified series are top notch

.

Currently, only the the TITAN, 780 and 770.

Depends on your budget. Few current generation GPUs with good headroom for overclocking can be listed are : GTX650ti, HD7850, HD7870, HD7870XT ( stripped down HD7950 ), HD7950 and maybe HD7970. Then it will depends on the specific model of that card, and what cooler will you use to OC the card: stock one that the manufacturer put on it, or an aftermarket one ( like Artic Cooling stuffs ). As for specific models, "Direct CU TOP" - branded cards from Asus or "Hawk"/"Lightning" cards from MSI are really good for OC-ing due to high quality components. As for cooler, some manufacturers do this very good, too, like MSI with TwinFrorz, Gigabyte with Windforce2X/3X, Asus with Direct CU II, Power Color with PCS+, inno3d with herculez, etc. while some others like XFX with their "DD" cards have really bad cooling performance.

Hmmm I know I've seen other cards than the titan , 780, and 770 with the geforce gtx on the side. Anyway, thanks.

I'm most likely going to be spending around 200 something. I would like to buy one that has a good stock cooler,is quiet, and prefer that it's already overclocked. What the best card I can get with these qualities that has the best overclocking potential? I'm probably going to use a cooler master 212 but I'm not sure if that's a CPU or graphic card cooler.

No need for an aftermarket cooler why some coolers supplied by the card's manufacturer are already good for overclocking. Look at my long reply above :ange:
