I was originally going to get the NZXT Phantom 820 since it was on sale for a crazy 179.99 but as soon as I got enough money it went out of my price range back to its original price of $210-240. So now im trying to find a good case for around the $180 price point or cheaper would be even better. Please note that I wont be building this rig until September. Here are the list of parts im getting: http://pcpartpicker.com/user/UnexceptionalJew/saved/1Qcp

So obviously I need a case thats going to be able to fit those components. Also, next year I do plan on taking my graphics card into a sli configuration so I would most definitely prefer a full tower with a side panel window. Thanks in advance.

If you're gaming at 1080p, it's not worth getting two 780s. One 780 is going to destroy anything on ultra at 1920x1080.

the NZXT Switch 810, simplistic in design, extremely easy to work with when full custom watercooling. Large window. comes in white, black and gunmetal. the 820 IMO doesnt add much to the original phantom's design. what the price includes is primarily the color changing bar in the front, and comes with a NZXT Hue

Dont like that case since its white and wouldnt look good in my room and it isnt a full tower.

It comes in black if that's ya preference .....As for the full tower, I just didn't understand why ya went that way..... I look at full towers when I'm building w/ 3 or 4 GFX cards but you only had one ..... I suggested 2 GFX cards and with today's improved thermal efficiencies of CPUs and GPus, I haven't used a full tower in a SLI build in about 3 years.

I should note:

The 500R has more expansion slots with eight, the 820 has seven ..... you're using 2 with a dual slot card, 4 if ya get the 2nd GFX card as recommended
The 500R has six 3.5" drive bays, the 830 has seven, you're using 2
The 500R has four 5.25 bays, the 820 has five, you're using one
The 500R has 10 fan mounts and comes with 4, the 820 has 7 fan mounts and comes with 3

The Phantom 820 scores a 9.00 to the 500Rs scored higher 9.25

Certainly a case is as much as an aesthetic choice as a performance one. Just wanted to point that from a performance standpoint, a mid tower is more than adequate .... and the newegg deal is a steal.
