Hi guys, I know this is supposed to be on the laptop category, but I'm buying very soon and I can't get many replied, if any, from people in it.

I'm going to university in 2 months, I play games like WoW, league, some bf3,skyrim, the usual stuff. Not expecting med-high settings really. My budget is around $670ish with taxes and shipped included and remember to keep in mind I live in Canada!

So far I've come up with these, don't forget to read the end please!

I know the first one is the best choice - but I don't think he's selling to Canada, and the timer is cutting it a bit too close.
Second choice, seems pretty reliable, can't find much better for the price.
Third, also seemed pretty good for the price!

My only problems are cooling, every laptop I've had just gets way too hot and overheats after playing some games for a bit of the day. Are these reliable for that?

EDIT: Please, if you have any other laptop recommendations, post them so I can see if there is better! :)

Thank you!

Are you going to be using any programs for your major (architecture major will be using modeling programs, etc.) or is it just for gaming and regular use?

After actually looking at the laptops, I would try to see if you can get the Lenovo Y500. It's a really nice laptop but has two fewer cores than the Inspiron. However, either of those will be good for your games and better than the AMD laptop.

@Proximon: I just noticed that the price on the dell is going up and up because it has 3 days left. That one is probably ruled out. I tried emailing the guy about the y500 to see if there's anything wrong, because seriously - 500 bucks for a really good laptop that's only 3 months old? I don't think that's right..

@realchaos: I do not know if I will be using any programs like that, but the specs on the uni website are pretty crappy and look like any 300 dollar laptop could handle it, however, I'm looking for gaming and regular use as you said.

Any other recommendations for laptops? My only options atm are the lenovo from newegg or eBay, and if the guy doesn't reply from eBay then I doubt I'll get it.. Seems too good to be true!
