Hey Everyone.
I am looking at building my first computer later this year and was wondering on the components I can use for the build. The Main Purpose of the Build will be Gaming on a 1920 x 1080 monitor and later three of these monitors. My Second Use will be Photography and Video editing so I am hoping to get 16 GB of Memory and an i7 Processor for that. My Budget is $2000 without Peripherals.

My Preferred Brands are: Intel, NVIDIA, ASUS, EVGA Corsair.

I Live in Australia So any Build suggestions please be on:
www.pccasegear.com or any other trusted website.

Hi there. I have listed a couple of options for RAM and Mobos. The Option 1's are my preference in parts but will have you well over $2K. Option 2's are still good choices and will leave your total a lot closer to $2K. The main difference with option 2 being only 8GB of RAM, which is plenty for gaming... but more might be useful to you in your video editing etc.

780 is better than two 770's, You can upgrade later too (If needed). Because if you get two 770's then PCIe you give you like x16, x8 lanes and if you add a third one, it will deteriorate further...

Ooo. Nice list. I see your budget has moved north. If your thinking of adding a 2nd 780 down the track make sure your PSU is at least 850W. IPS screens are generally not favoured for gaming. You could save a bit with a 2ms screen similar to the one you've chosen from Asus:

Not a big fan of the Sabertooth. If you go with the model Jack and myself have linked above, you get onboard WiFi (so you don't need that extra card) & for less money :)
