I have a quad core Intel I5-3450 @3.10 GHz. If I were to buy a GTX 780 would it be able to utilize all that it has to offer? Or how good of a Processor would I have to get?

What if I was to turbo it to 3.5GHz?

there would be a bottleneck if your running 1080p resolution. An overclocked 3570k would show better performance. If your playing higher resolutions then the gpu is taxed more. At 1080p you probably wouldn't notice the difference between the 770 and 780 with that cpu.

you do understand what a bottleneck is don't you? He wants to know if his cpu can utillize the 780 to its best. I would say no. most people in the market for a 780 would have an overclocked i5 or i7 K edition to get the most performance from a 780. If what your saying is true, you would get no extra performance from anything better than a 3450 with a gtx 780, which is BS. I'm not saying he will get poor performance, he will get great performance. But you could pair a gtx 770 with his cpu and not have a difference in fps (at 1080p), due to the cpu not being able to push it to its max.
