Hi

I just purchased two 8gb dimms of ram to go with my existing two 4gb dimms, but have been having issues getting the machine to boot with all 4 dimms installed.

The PC boots fine with either of the two kits installed, however when I try and boot with both kits installed it doesn't work (it powers up, but there's a red light on the top right of the motherboard, next to the memory, and no output to HDMI)

I tried increasing the memory voltage from 1.5v to 1.55v but it made no difference. Do you have any suggestions for how I might be able to get the system running with the full 24gb of memory?

Thanks for your help.

For reference:

I've just purchased this:
http://www.corsair.com/en/vengeance-16gb-dual-channel-ddr3-memory-kit-cmz16gx3m2a1866c9.html

And already have this:

The motherboard is a p67pro3.1 with a 2500k processor.

How did you install the RAM sticks? They have to go in pairs: one kit to blue slots, other kit to white slots. If this doesn't help, set all the timings in BIOS manually first. Both kits are specified to run at 1.5V, so no need to change that.

It works with either set in the blue slots, but when I add the second kit in the white slots it fails. Set the timings to 9-10-9-27? Or is it more likely to work if I set them higher?

Thanks
