Hi all,
This is my second time asking a question about this.
I've bought a full configuration in April which I built myself, and I've been getting lockups since the first boot. I had vertical lines on screen and black screens.
At first I thought it was the gpu, got a new one, looks like vertical lines, black screens no longer occur, instead, it completely locks up. I thought I'd try rebuilding the pc, reconnecting cables and stuff. After I did that, I see a white underscore for like 30 seconds before boot and the computer won't turn off after shutting down Windows.
Also, when I get a lockup, there is a very weird unidentifyable static 'screech' coming out of the speakers.
Ran memory diagnostic, ran chdsk already. Tried reinstalling all drivers, even Windows.
This freezing problem denies me from playing LoL because sometimes I throw a match because I have to hard reset.. :\
My rig:
Mobo: ASRock 970 Pro3
Processor: AMD FX-8320
GPU: Radeon HD 7870
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 8GB 1600Mhz
PSU: Chieftec CTG-500-80P
