XP SP3 fresh. Latest BIOS and drivers. Simple ECS motherboard. Primary master IDE drive.
SiiG 2-port SATA PCI card. Latest driver. WD drive 400GB.
On POST, card rom shows drive attached.
In XP, drive is in Device Manager w/ no issues. Opening Drive Management takes forever and doesn't show the drive. Also, Diskpart errors out and wont start.
With drive detached, all works fine.
