Hi - hope you can help.
I've had to replace my current graphics card (Radeon HD 4870 x2) and have bought a GeForce GTX 660. My old card started to generate a lot of artefacts all the way from the BIOS screen to Windows (7). Its now so bad I can't see anything at Windows and the PC eventually goes Blue Screen of Death and dumps the memory contents before hanging. Unfortunately this means I cant remove the Catalyst software
Q: If I physically remove the Radeon card and swap in the Geforce, will I damage the card by powering on with the Catalyst software loaded ? If not, my plan would be to remove the catalyst software via the Control centre (and install the right software for the Geforce)
Many thanks in advance
Steve
