Hello all.

I recently bought a rosewill RNX-n250pc wireless network card.
Upon installation Windows 7 attempted to install drivers. It encountered an error. I then installed the drivers from the disk and everything installed fine. The card is shown in the device manager as working properly but no signals are found. Ipconfig /all does not show it at all.

I have re-seated it and uninstalled and re-installed various drivers about 30 times in safe mode and otherwise (this includes everything from Roswell, Realtek, and Asus). It works on my other pcs just fine but not the one I bought it for.

Windows troubleshooting says there may be a problem with the driver, but is otherwise unhelpful. I have no other device that has a ! or ? or anything. I do not have a firewall. I've tried restoring my system to previous to the install and still nothing.

Any ideas would be appreciated on how to get it working...

computer details:
Asus P5KPL-CM Mobo

Intel Dual Core e8400 processor

OK it fixed itself. I say that because I didn't do anything but uninstall some other applications that windows felt I needed. Specifically I uninstalled the windows mobile pocket pc program it added. When I restarted after that, wallah, all of a sudden the card saw networks and seems to be working fine. Go figure.
