Sometimes when restarting or just starting up my PC, I get no internet connection and the icon shows the red X on it. But everything its fine, the cables are ok well plugged and the internet works ok as i have tried with my phone wireless. I make it work by disabling/enabling the connection but sometimes it doesnt work so i have to disable/enable the driver. or sometimes unplug/plug the cable. But this doesnt happen all the times. sometimes after start up everything its ok. I dont think this is a driver problem as I have tried around it. Maybe is an option or a background task? -_-

Sometimes other devices connected to usb ports can interfere with a usb modem, remove the iphone, pen tablet, camera, external hdd if they are connected.

Modems that require an aeiral need to be near a window or away from other electronic appliances like a fan heater/cooler, amplifier, mobile phones etc that cause interference.

At times, there may be many people near you or in your general vicinty that are also connected to the intermnet, there may be some interference or that you are at the back of the signal queue, wifi hotspots can only have so many connectins at any one time.

Edit -
If you are using usb modem, don't connect it prior to boot up, wait for desktop to finish loading.

Sounds like the old BONJOUR service problem -- Bonjour is an apple driver used by several programs (I-tunes,Photoshop,etc) and if it tries to load prior to the network driver loading it will add an unknown network to your system and cause the network driver to not load properly but if you disable reenable the network driver afterwards it all works fine until the next boot. to fix it you need to change the Bonjour service to a delayed start (since if it loads after the network driver it loads fine and does not cause the problem) to do this you need to go to the start button and type services.msc (this will bring up a listed program called services - Highlight it and left click on the mouse button to start it.

After it loads look in the list and usually at the top there will be a weird named service as shown in the pic below - highlight it and right click and select Properties and change it to delayed start as shown in the pic. - apply the change - and reboot and the problem shouldn't happen anymore (Assuming that is the cause which it sounds like it is !)
Pic showing the service in services.msc :
