Will this system be balanced and compatible?

Hi everyone!

This will be my second build, my first build was a very unstable system (probably hardware failure). So I wan't it to be 100% compatible and well balanced.

I checked most of the parts for compatibility, the only exception is the PSU and the GPU and CPU. Will it be enough? (Not in watts, but in the connector types)

Secondly.
I would like to hear your opinion and suggestions about this build for MMOs, TPSes, RPGs and Total War games. In the future I want to overclock the cpu to 4.0 GHz, and maybe the RAM a little bit.

I'm planning to buy in the upcoming weeks.

my build:

case: (already have) 3yo

PSU: (already have) 3yo

CPU:

Motherboard:

RAM:
Kingston LoVo - 8GB Kit* (2x4GB) - DDR3L 1600MHz CL9 Intel XMP DIMM // KHX1600C9D3LK2/8GX

GPU:

I have the rest.
// Not much money for anything more powerful.
// I'm living in the EU.

Thank you very much for your time and your answers!

That is quite balanced and should fit most user's needs nicely, there are no incompatibilities as far as I see. If you plan to overclock, upgrade to a 990FX board.

I read that the only difference between 990FX and 970 chipsets are the PCIe ports (990-s are crossfire/SLI compatible)

990FX boards tend to have more power phases and thus overclock better, if you want to OC, I would go with the Sabertooth 990FX R2.0/Gen3.

I would totally go for it but I don't have the money for it only 970 chipsets are in my price range.
Budget: 800$>x (multiply the US prices by 1.4 and you get the prices here)

Gah, but the system should be fine for your needs and can still overclock a fair bit.
