Motherboard won't fit in case with standoffs

I have tried to put in standoffs into the case, but the hole is raised. So whenever I place the motherboard inside, it will be raised above and will not fit in the io panel. What can I do to make it fit?

More about motherboard fit case standoffs
  1. Angle the MoBo into the case, I/O panel 1st ....slide thru the I/O opening in case and THEN lower rest of MoBo into place.
  2. Some cases have preinstalled/stamped standoffs in certain places. Only install the standoffs in holes which aren't raised and which are under a hole in your MB.
  3. I can only slide in the motherboard if I don't put any standoffs in.
