Intel Core i7 4770 £250
I know it's overkill for gaming but I want my PC to last at least 5-7 years

EVGA GTX 660 £150
I'm not gonna game crazy on this PC but it will be my primary gaming device. I wnat to run games at least high in 1080p.

Seagate 1TB Barracuda 7200RPM £49
Ill just have a standard HDD, I don't want an SSD, I don't mind waiting a little extra times for programs to open.

Patriot Viper 3 8GB DDR3 1600MHz £48
This ram looks really cool and I heard it's a good performer, I might upgrade to 16GB in maybe 3 years time.

Corsair TX650M £70
Seems like a solid PSU, hopefully it will last me 5-7 years?

Gigabyte H87-HD3 S1150 £75
Not overclocking, hope this MOBO will be enough I heard Gigabyte is one of the best motherboard brands just behind Asus.

Lite-On Opticial Drive £14
It will come in handy one day...

Corsair 300R Windowed + 2x 120mm Sickleflow Blue fans £82 inc fans
Got the extra fans for cooling (Probably place them at the top of the case) and I like the case and it's got a big side window!

An answer £0
I would like an answer about my build! :D

My no. 1 question: Do all these components include the necessary cables or do I need to buy some aftermarket ones?!?!

Thanks all!

Total: £743.21 Inc Vat

It's not overkill and if anything, it won't last as long as either the 4670k or 4770k cause you can't OC it to squeeze another year or two out of it

Id choose the 760 from Asus, Gigabyte or MSI....

The tall heat sinks are there just to "look cool" but will hit most 3rd party coolers.

Ya want the TX650 V2 not the M version .... check the reviews on jonnyguru.com and you'll see why.

All the cables come in the MoBo box

On this side of the pond, the $140 MSRP 500R ($70) is $20 cheaper than the $100 MSRP 300R ($90) ... if same deal over there, Id grab it

Hi, thanks a lot for your reply! :)

Would I be better off getting the Antec HCG-620 Modular? I heard it's basically a rebranded M12II 620W modular.

Does the 4770 have turbo-boost and how would be run with the stock cooler?

Oh and for the case: no there is no offer, I might get a HAF 912 Advanced or just stick with a 200R/300R Window.

JRAtk94,

Thanks, ill try to get it if my budget allows me :)
