Computer randomly freezing Win 7

Hello everyone, going to try to make this short and sweet. Installed windows 7 on my new SSD, after that (about 2 weeks ago) my computer would freeze RANDOMLY (happened 2 times) couldn't move mouse or CTRL+ALT+DEL or nothing. I was searching and ran the Microsoft fixit client. It showed up the problem was "superfetch was not enabled" so I enable it. Could that have been the problem which was making my PC freeze? Or is it not a coincidence that it started happening after installing my SSD? The SSD I have is the SanDisk ultra plus 128Gig

Make sure the firmware for the SSD is up to date. It does sound like the system is losing connectivity with the SSD.

I did download the software to update the firmware. Whenever I do it though it prompts me to make a copy of the ISO. Do I need to run that to make sure its up to date?

Could it be because I didn't have ACHI set in BIOS?

It is possible. It will bluescreen probably unless you provide it with the ACHI drivers to replace the IDE Driver is most likely using.
