Provided that the CPU is not soldered down, is it at all possible to upgrade the processor? If I bought a laptop with a lower end Trinity APU but still Socket FS1 could you upgrade if you could find a processor to buy online? Also is Socket FS1 compatible with Socket FS1r2?

Sorry for all the questions thanks in advance.

In my opinion, A laptop is build from a Pre planned circuitry, which has embedded CPU and GPU. In any case, U CANNOT change the CPU attached to the chip. Its as simple as that, If you have any other questions you are welcome. If ur question is solved, dont forget to select the best answerr :D

If you read the link though they did exactly that. You just had to get a computer without the CPU soldered to the board.
