I of course have a fan on my CPU and GPU, came with them and they work fine. I also have 1 case fan currently, which is blowing outward in the back.
I'm looking to buy another 1 or 2 case fans, but not sure what to get or how to place them.. These are my general specs I think is needed:
case: http://us.ncix.com/products/?sku=77540&promoid=1332
mobo: asrock z75 pro3
gpu: 7850HD ati gpu
cpu: intel i5 3350p
my PSU is mounted on the bottom also and the case fan is, well the one that came with the case. 120mm i believe.
Thank you!

Are your thermals abysmal? (I guess the better question is, do you actually need more case fans?)

Here are a couple links that are worth looking over. Keep in mind, though, every system is different:

(Naturally, there are also those provided on this site.)

That said, not to sound like a walking billboard, especially from my replies to another thread, but if you pick up three Arctic PWM F12s, you can link them together and only have to make use of your one 4-pin Cha_Fan header on the right side of your board. The fan wires should be long enough to reach each position, but I'd do some research, just in case.

Beyond that, unless you wanted to just add an addition two fans, instead of three, I don't know what to recommend. I haven't had the privilege to mess around with (hardware-based) fan controllers yet. I can tell you that Enermax makes another good line of fans, just to throw that one out there.

My computers pretty new, built it a few months ago. I've just been thinking lately if I should get some more fans in it though. Cause I only have 1 case fan. (Of course my GPU and CPU both have a fan.) Perhaps I worry to much though.
Also, thank you for them links Calculatron. I found them neat and informative, (though a little confusing for my tiny brain sometimes but lol).

Well, better safe than sorry, and what better way to be safe than to know for sure. Go ahead and download Speedfan (or any other temperature monitoring software) and Prime95. Use Prime95 to run torture tests and put your system under load, and use Speedfan to monitor the temperatures. Run for at least a half-hour; a full hour is recommended.

Do research and figure out the max recommended temps for your components, and compare to your results.

I know this topic of mine is a couple weeks old by now. But I found a problem. The front panel of my case is obviously removable..and it can fit 2 fans at the front but, I don't think I can remove the bottom door, and I can't exactly leave the entire front panel off either.. I do have a small mesh opening on the very bottom of the front panel, but I'm not sure that's enough.
