my gpu is a radeon 6450 1 gig saphire edition low profile sadly im stuck with a 240 watt small form factor psu and thus i cant upgrade the psu to support a better gpu and i dont have the money to build or buy a new pc right now so my question is will upgrading to an athlon 62 X2 5800+ 3.0GHz brisbane cpu fix the low frame rate problem the only other 2 pc games i play are tron evolution and star trek 2013 and both play perfectly on my current setup tron evolution hardly ever stutters and when it does it does it briefly thanks

Upgrading to at least a Phenom 965 and at least 6850 would totally solve the problem. R.E. 5 is an intensive game and unfortunately, your pc just cant handle it.

sadly i cant upgrade my cpu or gpu for 2 reasons one i have an older socket AM2 board and 2 my 240watt psu cant support a 6850 gpu and since its a small form factor pc im stuck with a stock psu and not much room for upgrade the 6450 was the best gpu i could get to run on my 240watt psu

The best thing you can do is to work, earn some money, build a new pc and enjoy maxing out most of the games. Earn at least $800, you can get yourself a good enough gaming pc. :)
