I got some free RAM with an itx mobo purchase - two sticks of Crucial 1.35V VLP RAM. I actually have them right now but I have no PC in the house that runs on desktop DDR3, so I cannot test for DOA or not until I get the rest of my new PC shipped.

It turns out a lot of people who got their RAM free with a mobo purchase are claiming DOA. Should that be a source of concern, or am I to assume that the RAM is working until proven otherwise?
And in the off chance that they are actually DOA, can anyone recommend me some good LP RAM for a small ITX rig?
