Basically I build a new computer about a month ago i didn't start gaming until a week and a half ago. In the middle of gaming ( i.e Planetside 2, Skyrim, TF 2) after 20 mins my computer shuts down then reboots with no error. I ruled out any temp problems because during game play my cpu averages around the mid 50s and my gpu in the 60s sometimes low 70s. I don't know what else could have caused the problem(psu, gpu, etc) below are my specs:

Mobo: Gigabyte z77-ds3h
CPU: Intel i5-3470 3.4 hz
Cooler: Cooler master hyper 212 plus
RAM: 8 Gb
GPU: GTX 560 ti
PSU: Kingwin 650w maximum series
HDD: Seagate 500gb
Windows 8

I'm in desperate need of an answer Thnx!

So i ran furmark for a good 20 minutes or so and nothing no shutdown. 20 min is close to how long i can usually play games on this computer

My stats were like min 30 c max 87 c
gpu usage was 99-100 percent
fan speed 60 percent
mem was like 20 percent

I dont know what to take away from that

So i ran both at the same time for a good near 1 with no problem. I also took out my gpu and cleaned it i noticed that after i cleaned it i was able to play for a considerably longer amount of time but after 2 hours of playtime my computer shutoff again. the next thing im going to do is test my computer with a different psu and see if that solves the problem

If its not the PSU, check all the capacitors on the MOBO, because I had the same problem where if I did anything intensive it would shut down. Ended up being some capacitors around the CPU socket had leaked.

Don't rule out the PSU. It could just be that when you draw a lot of power from the wall, the PSU can't handle it and shuts down.

If I were you I would swap it over and see if that helps.

a psu problem would be odd though, as running furmark + prime95 did not make the pc reboot, while games sometimes do, but they never use 100% of both the CPU and GPU.
When i just build my system i did not have a good enough psu, and it would freeze literally 2 seconds after starting up furmark, and randomly while gaming, on avarage once per hour.

Kingwin (under 800W) is listed at a tier 5 manufacturer though, so it might still be an unstable PSU after all.
that system doesnt use more than 350Watt, so a 450W or more psu should be enough

Im gonna test my comp with a different psu later but yesterday i was able to play a good 4 hours of Planetside 2 until it had a hard reboot then today i was only able to play 30 min so this seems quite strange to me
