The 8GB CL9 set is basically stock entry level 1600 sticks, the 16GB CL10 set is on the slow side for 1600 sticks, Performance/High performance DRAM @ 1600 will be CL7 or CL8

8 or 16GB, what set, what CL, there are a lot of Pro models, many are basically the same as what's bove other than the throw Pro on and a new heatsink, need to look at combo of freq voltage and CL, and compare to other brands....I seldom use Corsair unless a client specifies it...overall I find them overpriced
