First, in bios. Do I select RAID or AHCI? Intel says RAID it will apply AHCI. I only have the 1 drive right now.

TRIM is yes from what Im reading? I shouldn't enable write caching because the power can be cut by thunderstorms. Happened yesterday actually but PC was not plugged in.

I was actually looking at a number of these http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/270102-32-useful-articles-part.
Im not understadnding the prefetch and superfetch.
I disabled indexing, defrag, enable TRIM.
AHCI and not RAID correct? I mean I read and read and then another page has it worded some way I think would mean the opposite of what I understand it as....

I understand its multiple drives. The stuff I was reading made it sound like there as only 1 drive and the setting was on RAID, at least thats how it read. I used the SSD Samsung Magician tool and set OS Optimization to "reliability" , prefetch/superfetch were effected.Im pretty sure deactivated.

Prefetch and Superfetch just saves stuff from startup and shut down to make those processes faster. If you have an SSD, however, all they do is write data to the drive, which is bad for its health.

I disabled indexing, disabled defrags, ENABLED TRIM, set to only AHCI. TRIM deactivated pre/super fetch.
Anything else I should do?
Im not doing the one that says you shouldn't do if you experience power outages at times.
Also both the games I installed, TOMB RAIDER & CRYSIS 3 both installed to x86 program files.. My Win7 Ultimate is 64bit though, is this a problem, explain please

No, that just means that those are not optimized for a 64 bit OS. (Not much actually is.) I would also disable things like the startup animation and disable system restore.

I have system restore enabled untill my HDD WD BLUE 1tb gets back from RMA from Newegg. or would it even matter? I dont necessarily need the extra space on the SSD since I still have 70GB free.

Soooo would PCs next step ahead of consoles be having games optimized for 64bit? Since consoles have moved to 32bit now.

Ah, 64 bit has been around for quite a while and not much has really been optimized for it. I don't think it will ever really be mainstream, just because there isn't a real need for it. The installed files for a 64 bit application are often much larger than that of a 32 bit, for little extra noticeable performance.

Ramdisk is when you allocate some of your ram for a super fast hard drive. It is good for things like storing active video edits, and other things that need to be accessed extremely quickly. But it is really only effective when you have 16+ gigabytes of ram.
