I have a few questions about installing W7 on my iMac because I'm very confused. Please forgive me for my misunderstanding, so can you try to make your answers as clear as possible please?

1) Is it possible to install windows 7 64-bit on my iMac, which is OS X 10.6.8? - Do I have to buy that update which gets me on 10.7 just to install Windows 7?

2) Can I install windows 7 64-bit using Bootcamp 3.0.4 when on OS X 10.6.8, which is what I have right now?
- Apparently, I need at least Bootcamp 4 to install windows 7 but Bootcamp 4.0 is only on OS X 10.7+

3) Should I use W7 32-bit or 64-bit since I only have 4GB Ram?

(Topic may be edited if I have more questions.)

My iMac details: iMac 21.5" Mid-2010

Core i3 @ 3.06
4GB Ram
Radeon 4670

i am using the newest version, but according to my install, you cannot use windows 7 32-bit but if you can on the older bootcamp, i would still recommend 64-bit if your mac is 64 bit.
for 1), i do not know, so try it out
Best of luck :D
