PC Randomly Shuts-down

I recently built a computer specifically for gaming about 20 days ago. However, in some games my pc will shut off/reset randomly. I first discovered this when i was trying to play the single player campaign of Modern Warfare 2. Within the first minute of loading the game my pc will just restart. However, when i loaded up multiplayer the game ran without problems. At that moment I thought in my head that it was maybe just the drivers. However, today while i was playing GTA IV with a friend my PC shut down/reset after about 15 minutes. What confuses me is that other games that are more GPU and CPU intense run without any problems while these two do not. For example, I can play a game like Saints Row: The Third and Sniper Elite V2 with everything on max for hours at a time without any problems. What could be causing this problem and are there any ways on fixing it?

CPU: Intel i5 3570k
GPU: EVGA GTX 780 w/ ACX cooling
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 16 gb (2x8gb)
MOBO: ASrock z77 extreme 4
PSU: RAIDMAX RX-1000AE
HDD; Western Digital Caviar Black 2TB

P.S: Sorry if i posted this in the wrong thread as I am new here

I could try the psu in my old computer which is a 700w tomorrow morning and see if that works. I do know it's not my ram as I have already tried that. If it does happen to be a faulty psu, what brands are good if I were to RMA it for credit (newegg)?

Edit: Yes I have my 3570k overclocked to 4.2 ghz. I already tried setting it back to stock and I still get the same problems.

I'll try my old 700w psu and if it works with that, then I know for sure it is the psu and I can close this topic. If it happens to be the psu, what would be a good model for my rig considering a few overclocks?

Turns out it was the PSU. What sucks is that I cant RMA it because it's like six days over so i guess that's a waste of 120 bucks. Thanks for your help boju.

I will at some point later on, but for the next 3-5 years ill be sticking with one. Who knows, by then it will probably be better to just get a new card. Also, I got a corsair 750w gold certified for 120 bucks.

Alright, I'll just stick with one card then because at the moment with my monitor size and spes there is no need to get two.

I already ordered it. I knew I could get lower wattage, but with the amount of fans I have in my case, overclocked cpu, and overclocked gtx 780 I wanted to be on the safe side and get a 750w.
