I posted this on a different forum before looking at the Eyefinity guide posted here in the forums:

Can anyone good with multi-monitor setups help me out? I can't seem to get my card to display all three monitors at the same time. It detects all three, but can only have 2 active at once. I've read that an "Active" display adapter should do the trick? Here's my setup:

Graphics Card: Gigabyte 7970 Ghz

Monitors: ASUS VN247H-P

Note:
Graphics card has mini display portx2, hdmix1, DVIx1
Monitor has HDMIx2, D-Subx1

Thanks in advance!

After looking at the guide here on tomshardware.com, I gathered that all I need to make this work is just an Active Mini Display port? Would I need one or two?

Solution
Yes, you only need an active mini displayport adapter to make your Eyefinity setup complete. Use that adapter you posted above to connect the card's mini DP port and one of your monitor. This way your card will set that monitor as the main ( middle ) display in Eyefinity. As for the 2 other monitors, just connect them to your card using hdmi/dvi cables normally.
