Will a i5 2500k work with a evga z68. With 8gb of corsair ram. I just ordered an i5 3570k and found out that my mobo doesent support that bridge. Do these work with each other.
I'm surprised the 3570K doesn't work with it...it should do, although it might need a BIOS update first. A Z68 will work fine with an i5-2500K; it was the top-end chipset when the 2500K was king.

Yes, Ivy brige is compatible with z68 mobo's. However, you need a BIOS update to make the board able to recognize your new Ivy Bridge chip.
