Hello everyone.
While playing games like nfs most wanted 2012 my gpu usage never goes above 56%. checked using msi afterburner. the game kinda lags even on medium settings. max temp is 52 which is great i feel. i get around 30-35 fps most of the time.
My sys config. is:
Core 2 Duo e4500
xfx amd hd 5770 1 gb gddr5
VIP 500w psu
playing at 1440 x 900

hUMM! ITS SEEMS TO THAT YOUR RIG HAVING VERY LOW END CPU THAT'S MEAN IS youR Cpu is bootelnecking by your gpu
its means that your cpu is not full fill the req. of the gpu to usage full of your %
GET A BETTER CPU LIKE QUAD CORE OR AND HIGH END DUAL CORE CPU LIKE G2020 /I3 OR ANY A4-5300

Allow me to translate what that guy above me said^^

Low GPU usage suggests a CPU bottleneck. Basically, it happens when your graphics card is too fast for your CPU. It slows itself down so that the CPU can keep up i'm facing a similar issue and i have a core 2 duo e6600 with a HD7770 and my gpu usage never goes above 60% either

Get a Core 2quad or and core2extream from lga775 and if you want to upgrad also mobo so i suggest you i3or pentium -g2020

because these are better than a lga 775 quadcore processor

Furmark is a GPU benchmark that relies ONLY on the GPU and not the processor. Gaming however is a different task altogether which relies on RAM CPU and other factors. This is where the bottlenecking occurs. ^^If i were you i would NOT buy a Dual core of the modern era as its already obsolete. The AMD FX6300 Is a 6 core processor which will definitely hold its own in next gen games. You will need to upgrade your CPU/MOBO/RAM. I'm in the process of saving up for that combo myself. My core 2 duo 2.4ghz doesn't cut it even in older games
