I currently have an HIS 7870, im planning to sell it and go for an electricity bill friendly nvidia card. Should i go for 760 or 770? Or 670? Part of the reason of wanting to shift to nvidia is because i play a lot of sc2 in a 32" screen
Performance per Watt wise the HD7870 ranks pretty high and very good overall. but yes when it comes to StarCraft2 Nvidia does rule the roost. What resolution are you playing at?
Full system specs? Exact PSU model please.
I heard 660ti is about the same as 7950. If that is true then 760 is definitely or even better than 7950
It depends on if you overclock or not and what resolution you game at. Here is an example at 1600p :
If you do overclock then the HD7950 can gain a lot of performance but uses more power in the process.
I read alot of gpu reviews before i had my gpu. After i got it i stopped for like 5 months. And now that i was able to compare some gtx 700 gpu, i dont think switching from amd to nvidia is not that ideal..
