I have the choice of 2 memory options for my desktop......
4 * 1GB @ 1066Mhz
2 * 2GB @ 800Mhz
Both give me 4GB, but, I wondered if one is clearly better/faster than the other or will there be little to choose. I had read somewhere that 2 sticks is better as it can then utilise dual channels, but, they would be slightly slower.
The motherboard is an ASUS M3N78 Pro.
Any opinions would be most welcome - thanks!
