I have a Samsung WB280F and I'd like to mount that on the wall in one room and run perhaps a cable to a TV in the other room so that whatever the camera "sees" in the first room will be displayed on the TV outside. Someone mentioned doing this would damage my camera; I intend to leave the camera on for upwards of 6 hours a day while doing this. Any advice or opinions? Thanks!

Also my camera only has one output which appears to be a micro usb output. Is connecting it to a TV as simple as using a micro usb to HDMI adapter and then running an HDMI cable from the camera to TV? Anything else I'd have to do to set this up?

Thanks!

Consider the problem with different power outlets connection !
If you TV and you CAM have 3 pin Power Cables - the one is for grounding - then i will not ADVISE you to connect them in separate power sours.
You may get "phase difference voltage" problem this way.

The other problem is :
How do you plane to see the CAM on the TV if you have only micro USB ?
Better change the cam with :
- HDMI CAM

In advanced :
- if you distance is more than 5 meters go for PoE Camera or Ethernet Cam
You can find those equipment easy and HowTo in Goole ...
PoE Camera or Ethernet Cam

Thanks for the reply. Just about any modern digital camera should be able to be connected to a TV so that what I see on the camera's display will be mirrored on the TV, right?
