Hey my ssd just had doubled it's boot time from 8 to 16 seconds and i found out that if i disable the Onboard Usb 3.0 Controller from the boot menu, it boots again for 8 seconds, why is this happening, what kind of relation has the sata and the usb 3.0 to slow down my drive? Now it's okay but i just can't use my 3.0 ports :/

Solution
I bet it was because your motherboard used that 8 sec to check if there are any boot-able device connecting through usb3.0 ports. You should try to move the SSD to the top of booting priority from your BIOS.

Hmm it's strange i enabled the 3.0 controller and 8 sec boot , did a few restarts and 15 sec again, disabled it 8 sec again, this afternoon came to the pc, turned it on and 15 sec, i immediately restartet it an 8 sec again, its very strange, i think its the motherboard thats shitty and has some issues, cuz i dont think its the ssd, hopefully i'll be picking a z77a-g45 gaming mobo this summer to replace this one and see if the problem persists, maybe its Windows 7 issue :/

It's not bad, but a vertex 4 should boot in 8 sec ~. It boots in 8 secs but not always. Randomly does 15 sec.
