Upgrading Video Card. New PSU?

Alrighty guys, I'm finally upgrading from my NVIDIA GT 240 to something faster finally. It's about time time...so I have a few questions about some cards I found.

Here is my power supply. But only 19A on the 12V rail...

Here are the video cards I want. No I will not be overclocking. My budget is between $100-200 but I want to go cheaper just in case I need to buy a PSU.

The one feature request I am looking for is at least 2 DVI outputs because my monitors have only VGA and DVI so if I only have 1 DVI...not sure how to do the dual monitors then...not sure if you can go DVI Mini to DVI.

Your PSU should be ok, but Coolermaster doesn't really have the track record of being reliable in the power supply area. I mean 4 12v rails?!?!? Wow lol, that says to me cheap parts so we had to add extra rails for the needed amps... I am not a PSU expert though :-\ Neither of the cards you are looking at will tax most power supplies very hard, and like squirrelboy said, that amount of watts is more than enough for most sli or cf setups... but what worries me is the quality of it. between those 2 cards I'd choose the 7850 though. I'd say give it a shot with your current PSU and then if you have problems, get a new, more reliable, and better made one.

that psu is waaay more than plenty. without sli/cfx you only need 450-550 watt

the heaviest drawing card, the 7850 only draws about 110w, any single one of those rails supplies roughly 228w, theoretically you could sli those cards on a single rail, although spreading the load is usually the better idea :p

In other terms, your PSU is fine, there's plenty of juice for running one of those cards :p

Maximum GPU Temperature (in C) - 97 C
Maximum Graphics Card Power (W) - 134 W
Minimum System Power Requirement (W) - 450 W
Supplementary Power Connectors - One 6-pin

In SLI therefore 450 + 134 = 584 watts

Only downside is that I don't get the 3 free games >.< even though the 650Ti is just a tiny bit better. But I do get the 75$ in game coupon....but for what game? Will it even work? Now how does the 1GB 650 Ti Boost compare to the 2 GB one?
