I recently build myself a new computer. But I'm having some trouble that I was hoping I could get some help with.
The build is:
Motherboard: MSI Z87-GD65
CPU: Intel i7 4770K
GPU: Gigabyte GTX 580 (From old build - Waiting for EVGA GTX 780 SC w/ACX Cooler)
Ram: 8GB Kingston HyperX (From old build)
SSD: Samsung 840 PRO (254GB)
PSU: Cooler master 1000W (From old build)
Case: Cooler master HAF922 (From old build)
OS: Windows 8 Pro 64-bit
I installed Windows 8 and everything has been running fine. Until the other day when the computer suddenly rebooted and then kept rebooting every 2-3 seconds. I had to go on a business trip so i didn't have time to check it out but I just got back - Started up the machine and everything seemed fine again. (Though It does come with this high strange noise when it boots - I've attached a video)
But now I've run into a new problem. While only having Chrome, Spotify and League of Legends launcher running it keeps telling me I'm out of memory. When I look in the taskmanager it uses 95-98% of memory, but looking through the list it doesn't seem to be using more than 1-2GB.
I've looked in the computers info screen in Windows 8 (The one where I can see that Windows 8 license is genuine etc.) and it says I've got 8GB of ram installed.
Restarting the computer works but from the get go it uses almost 20% memory.
I'm not really sure what to do now. I've just tried running a memtest, but it passes with no errors.
EDIT: Forgot the link to the small video - This is taken from the site of the case the day it started rebooting every 2-3 seconds.
