So i just built my first PC, and i was thinking about overclocking it. But to be honest I do not know how or where to start. I have a good knowledge about PC's just not good enough at this time to do this. So i was hoping someone could help me with this.

I have the same mobo, CPU, and cooler there. They have done well for me, so hopefully you get similar results! :)
Manually set the Vcore to what auto has it set to. Slowly bump the multipliers for each core up 1 at a time. See how far you get on stock voltage.

To stress test, use prime95 and monitor temperatures, voltages and clock speed with CPU-Z and Core temp or RealTemp.

Don't forget to take it slowly and check your temps aren't above 80°C. If you reach what many call a "voltage wall", that could be your limit. A voltage wall is basically a lump of extra voltage that goes against the common trend of Vcore to GHz. These can often incur increases of .4 volts or more to reach a certain OC.

For example, when I OC my 3570k, It was a steady increase of volts, to reach the next +0.1 GHz, until I tried for 4.8GHz, I needed to add .7 to Vcore to reach 4.8 or my PC would not boot. When I did this, my CPU got very hot too.
