Stripped Thread on Radiator, Any Suggestions?

One of the mounting holes on my radiator was cross-threaded and stripped, and now the screw simply spins freely as if nothing was there. I don't think it's that big of a deal since I still got the other screws holding everything together. But is there a way to remedy the issue? A bigger screw perhaps?

this is just one example they make many different varieties and can be also found in about any plumbing area of home depot ect.

How should I apply the silicone tape? Just wrap a bit around the screw?

just tape the threads.

plumbers use it on every water joint. i am surprised it is not used on all water systems for computers, there may even be some specialized stuff. I have done allot of construction work and just know that silicone tape is always a good idea.
