My pc was working fine for 3 days then out of nowhere it wouldn't boot up after turning it off. The motherboard reads error code 62 and nothing shows on the monitor. I have not been able to access my computer since. I am new to building computers so any pointers would be of great help.
Error code 62: Installation of the South Bridge Runtime Services
Might simply reset the CMOS, unplug, pull the battery from the mobo for 30 seconds or so, reinsert, plug in, boot into BIOS, reset the time and date, if 1600 or above, enable XMP and select profile 1
Before I do this, I want to point out that error code 55 shows now (Memory not installed). I've installed the memory in different slots and made sure it was in correctly yet the error code stayed the same. Is the motherboard defected, or should I do what you say and reinsert the battery. Also, the ram is 1600.
