It have a dell xps l502x and have been having bsod happen every once in a while for about a month. I got so tired of it I burnt a windows 7 install cd an loaded it up. It had failed burning on my other pc but apparently had enough to load up and begin to restore. I found out that dell has a recovery partition so I loaded that up and have restored to factory setup twice and now have a blue screen right at startup. The error is a 0x0000007b error. System repair says that it cannot automatically fix the computer and says the root cause is in the hard disk and was a "failure during setup". Thanks for the help.
Actually no, that's a laptop. I couldn't find the type from Dell, but it looks like a 2.5" SATA drive.
