Hey guys,
I'm going to be purchasing my first GPU and PSU and I'm extremely worried about getting a defective product. I've been reading reviews and so many people have problems getting the card to work or it's getting too hot. I also am worried I'm going to screw up. I'm not completely sure on how to connect the GPU to the PSU. The GPU require 2 PCIe connectors but does that mean I need a splitter to get 2 connectors out of 1 or do I just use 2 separate PCIe power connectors? Any help with would be appreciated.

(Still don't know which one to choose)

So I use one connector per port? Two connectors from the PSU to two ports on the GPU, correct?

The chance of getting a DOA is moderately low. Maybe 1 in 15 at the worst (less with a high quality brand).

Remember the reviews are going to be BIASED because people will be more likely to leave a review if they have a problem.

Also, there is an RMA system in place to deal with defective products.

Actually, the reviews I've read about the Zt series says they are pretty much crap. I've owned 4 OCZ psu's however, and I love the brand. I've had a modular 520w, regular 500w, 700w that burned out(my fault though) and the Fatal1ty modular 750w that I'm using now. The Fatal1ty is the one I'd recommend, because I've used it and I've seen good reviews on it. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817341041&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-_-na-_-na-_-na&cm_sp=&AID=10446076&PID=3938566&SID=
