My Acer Aspire 5560G-7809 seems to have trouble connecting to wireless internet even with full bars on the connection. Unless I put the laptop right next to the router, the laptop doesn't connect to our wireless internet. I have tried connecting in various places including my university, home, and even the nearby starbucks, and it has always failed. Can anyone diagnose what is wrong with my laptop?

Reinstall the drivers from your manufacturer.
If that doesn't fix it, check that the antenna connector(s) are properly plugged in to the card. EDIT: That won't help if it's getting full bars.
Also try a different OS; Windows may be screwing with you.
