so i have restricted internet and therefore need to monitor it, more data is being sent than usual and idk why (keep in mid my pc has been on only 1 hour). The first image show how much data has been sent today in around one hour, taking into consideration that my PC will be on around another 12 hours that would make my data sent ~ 400MB, almost 4x other days. Im running avast free as my av btw

EDIT : forgot to post pictures - http://imgur.com/a/cBVZe
EDIT 2 : doing a malwarebytes scan as we speak.

Hai..Network analyzers can produce enormous amounts of data, and sifting through it can be daunting, but don't get discouraged. you can create filters to view or hide types of info as appropriate.

alternately, if you just want to get a sense as to what sites your computer is trying to visit, you may find zonealarm useful:
zonealarm basic firewall software is free for personal use. during install it will offer to configure itself automatically. most people would want it to, but i think you would want to answer 'no' to that, so that zonealarm will alert you on every program that tries to connect to the internet. with each alert you can allow once, allow permanently (remember this decision), deny once, or deny permanently (remember this...

Have you checked the Application tab to see what is using the data? Looks like that may show you some details. Windows update will have quite a bit of downloading depending on how the system is setup. Plus it's impossible to know how much data is "normal" for you and what you are running on that computer since you did not really give any details aside from the final data total. Are you watching online movies? Facebook? YouTube? No way for anyone to know unless you tell us.
