I decided to go with the Asus Crosshair V Formula-Z FOR AMD chips instead of the Sabertooth. Reason being there is much more features, build quality is fantastic and if you have a windowed case like me it looks badass.
  2. Do they have an intel version to your knowledge ?

Yes I think so but they are a bit more expensive,

    ROG motherboard intel

    Sabertooth intel

    Its ok :)

For a motherboard which you will do A LOT of gaming on, the ROG motherboard is a definite buy, I have the AMD version and it is great for crossfire and SLi. Also it has a better integrated sound card for quality in-game sound, you can easily overclock it and has so many internal headers (for example 8 fan headers to keep your system nice and cool).

Dont get me wrong though the sabertooth is also very good. It depends on if you are willing to spend a bit more for a really good motherboard.

Dont waste your money on the Extreme. Total overkill and almost all Z87 boards.. Even the low ends can max out Haswell on air

I always had build problems with ASRock :( 2 times I had to send back a faulty motherboard from ASRock, A shame really, they do have a nice amount of appealing features :(
