OK getting ready to put my first build together for the purpose of gaming, as well as general use I suppose. Perhaps I'm over-thinking this, but I just don't want to make a mistake.

This is it, and it's pretty much where I want to be budget wise. As always any and all help is greatly appreciated. My apologies if the format is bad.

Solution
Get a normal DVDS drive for like $17, Get an i5 4430 and an h87 motherboard.

use the saved money to get a gtx770. It will be a decent jump and max all current games.

I suppose I could do without the blu-ray drive now that I think about it.

And, if I'm being super critical with my self, I suppose I wouldn't even overclock the CPU for fear of messing something up.

*doesn't have to do with anything, but, I'm now noticing how much I say 'suppose'.

Here it is after all revisions made. Also do you think I should get some thermal paste?
