I have recently bought a gaming pc and a new monitor. The monitor doesnt have speakers or a sound jack and its connected to my pc via dvi and hdmi. For sound i planned on using my turtle beach x12 headset, when i plugged the cords into the headphone and mic jacks the pc didn't detect the headset. I tries looking on the sound window in the control panel but the only thing that comes up is AMD HDMI Audio which is enabled and Realtek HD Audio Speakers and it says that its not plugged in. I've also tried going to the Realtek audio manager but it says nothings plugged in. I've updated tbe realtek driver and tried plugging in the headset into the front and back panels but still no luck. Please Help!

Check in the BIOS if your onboard audio is still on.

Try to disable the AMD HDMI sound if you don't use it.
